Happy Turkey Day!

Here is Maddie on Turkey Day reciting her two lines of the poem her preschool class performed:

The turkey is a funny bird,
his head goes wobble wobble,
the only thing that he could say
is gobble, gobble, gobble.

She brought home some adorable Thanksgiving crafts; the turkey you see here was one of my favorites.

Grandma and Grandpa

We are so happy to have Grandma and Grandpa here for Thanksgiving. What's even better, they're staying right in our backyard. The house is so quiet because the camper is Maddie's new favorite place to play.

Sunday In the Park

We spent Sunday with good friends at the park. The bigger kids played in the sand while the babies hung out in the shade.

A Day with Milo

The girls and I had a great day babysitting Milo. He was a super happy and enjoyable baby. Three kids, piece of cake!

Family

We had a great visit with Grandma and Grandpa this weekend. We went to a Korean restaurant where Kent and Ralph cooked our dinner at the table. We went shopping for some warm clothes for Maddie and a golf bag for Daddy. We had a great breakfast at the hotel where Maddie even spent a night with her grandparents (Kent and I missed her the second she was gone; the house was way too quiet), and watched football.

Trick-or-Treat

Trick or treat
Smell my feet
Give me something
good to eat!

We let Maddie eat as much of her candy as she wanted to Halloween night. She woke up at 2;30 am, threw up a couple of times, and decided she never wanted to eat candy again. It has been two weeks, and she's holding strong to her claim.
