Sophie Turns 7!!

Sophie turned seven over the weekend! Although we're having her birthday party in a couple of weeks, we had a very special day on her actual day! Her wish was to go to Build A Bear, and Grandpa Dean and Grandma Mel gave her the funds to do so. She had a blast and remarked several times that this was the best day of her childhood. :) It was a home run. She picked out the bunny above and all those accessories below! She even picked her own sound, "I love you," and a cotton candy scent. Her little bunny has a dress, a headband, a purse, shoes, pajamas, slippers, a sleeping bag, and a hairbrush. Sophie was in heaven!

Cox Farms!

We made our annual trip to Cox Farms on Saturday. The weather was a lot like October in Los Angeles . . . high 80's. Despite the summer weather, the scenery was beautiful and reflected the current date.  Look at the clouds!

We had a great time sliding down multiple slides, swinging from rope swings, petting goats, and drinking apple cider.  It was a great day!

Sophie ran into one of her best friends from school!

Fall is Here!

We have been decorating for fall and Halloween! Maddie and I planted several pots of flowers, only problem is we have some rodent that keeps digging in them! This weekend, we  put up some decorations inside, too. The house looks beautiful and festive.

New Camera!

Kent got me a new camera! Here are some of the first pictures we took. The ones of the kids were taken in dim light; this camera is such an improvement from our last one! I have a lot to learn about it, but I am loving the process and looking forward to lots of fall pictures this season!
