Snow, snow, and more snow!

We have had a decent amount of snow this year! No big storms, but enough small snows to miss five days of school so far! Above, Sophie is playing in the front yard. You can see that our street had not been plowed yet.

We enjoyed another day of playing in the snow with cousins, Eddy and Rae.

A few days later, it was so cold that we still had lots of snow to play in. We drove over to my old neighborhood to sled down one of my old hills. Since my co-worker, Madeline's teacher, lived close by, she decided to join us. What a sport! Madeline loved sledding with her!

Performance Season

Below is a picture taken after the Westfield High School performance. Jump rope season is coming to an end. Maddie only has two more performances in February.

Everyday January

It's been so cold that we have mostly been trying to stay indoors and warm this month. Here are some everyday pictures of the girls this month:

Sophie lost her third tooth, but it was the first one that wasn't a shark tooth. This is the first we've seen her grin with a missing tooth!

January 3, 2014

We had some snow in early January when we were still on winter break. Since Auntie Dawn had to work up the street from us, her girls were able to come over for the day. We enjoyed the snow and sledding. Rae was a bit apprehensive, but we managed to get her down the hill once.
