Sophie is eight months old! She is starting to crawl; she can get up on her hands and knees, but only goes backwards. She likes to feed herself and eats some table foods: bananas, peas, and carrots. She's a great sleeper, but an early riser. She is looking forward to spending a lot of time with her mommy this summer, only 10 more days of the school year!

What a little sprout! Happy 8th month Sophie, we love you! Oh and Uncle Josh said that now that he has some baby-holding confidence he can't wait to have the opportunity to spend more time with you - hopefully in August! And Jenny - this is the part of working in a school system that I'm really going to appreciate from now on - time off with Dagney!
I can't wait to do some Sophie holding too! I just want to squeeze her. Only 6 more days till I can. I wish I could find the old pictures of me and Great Grandma Margy. I think there might be some resemblance there. If I remember correctly...
